The next Minds Eye is Hanging Lake in Colorado!
Why this place? Well as some of you know and have been with me on the journey, that both my parents have passed away within the last several years.
This spot was one of the last actual vacations we went on together back when I was 14-15 years old. My first time to CO.
The rest of my siblings were born in Colorado and my dad used to manage the Hot spring Lodge. All this before my time and their trek to Indiana... where I popped out eventually.
I was a little to “teenager-ey” to really appreciate the hike we did together.
Looking back, it was an amazing experience and a memory that I hold close now that they have moved on from this world.
